ProstaStream Versus Prostate Drugs

If you talk to your doctor about prostate problems or BPH, then your doctor may prescribe prostate drugs or other medicine.

However, the makers of ProstaStream.com advise against these solutions.

The official ProstaStream website describes prostate drugs as “useless,” claiming they’re “chemical-filled medicine so they [Big Pharma] can stay rich.”

Prostate drugs are a problem because they don’t tackle the root cause of prostate problems.

Instead, they tackle the symptoms of an enlarged prostate – like difficult urination.

Because they tackle the symptoms, they keep you reliant on prostate medication.

You never shrink your enlarged prostate, and you’re forced to continue taking this medication – and keeping big pharmaceutical companies wealthy – for the rest of your life.

Here's why Frank Neal, who created ProstaStream, believes people who take doctor-prescribed prostate medication are suckers:

“The Big Pharma conglomerates have a cash-prize on the head of each able-bodied man in America.

Each man who falls prey to this seemingly harmless urinary problem risk not only public humiliation, emasculation, physical discomfort, life-threatening kidney failure…

But also bankruptcy! Provege costs $93,000…Zytiga costs about $5,000 a month.

Sanofi’s Jevtana costs about $8,000 every three weeks.”

Instead of taking these high-priced solutions from big pharma, Frank recommends using his supplement instead.

As proof Big Pharma is threatened by his invention, Frank claims he is facing over a dozen lawsuits from pharmaceutical companies.

He also claims his presentation has been removed from the internet twice because of Big Pharma.

In fact, Frank claims you don’t need to take his formula forever to see results.

Most prostate drugs require regular usage for life.

ProstaStream, on the other hand, requires just 1, 3, or 6 bottles to provide results “well into old age.”

By taking ProstaStream for just 1 to 6 months, you could relieve BPH symptoms for life, according to the official website.

Frank and his team strongly recommend the 6 bottle package to make sure you get the full benefits of the formula for as long as possible.

ProstaStream Ingredients

ProstaStream contains a blend of natural ingredients linked to prostate health and prostate size.

The full list of ingredients in ProstaStream includes:

Plant Sterol Complex: Plant sterol complex is the largest ingredient in ProstaStream, and there are 300mg of plant sterol complex in each serving of ProstaStream.

Plant sterols are natural compounds found in plants.

Studies show they may be able to safely lower cholesterol levels. In fact, plant sterols are chemically similar to cholesterol but are made in plants – not humans.

Certain natural ingredients, including vegetable oils, nuts, and seeds, have high levels of plant sterols.

Studies show they can help support cardiovascular health.

Studies also show plant sterols are rich with beta sitosterol, which is used to manage BPH.

Saw Palmetto: Saw palmetto is native to the southeastern United States, and it was traditionally used to make medicine for a variety of conditions.

Today, saw palmetto is best-known for its use in prostate supplements, and some studies show saw palmetto could help support normal prostate size.

As the second largest ingredient in ProstaStream, saw palmetto could help with BPH in multiple ways.

Pygeum Africanum: Pygeum Africanum is a popular herbal remedy for BPH. It’s been used in traditional medicine in central and southern Africa for centuries.

Today, modern studies show Pygeum Africanum contains natural chemicals linked to inflammation throughout the body, with some studies specifically connecting Pygeum Africanum to normal prostate size.

Vitamins: ProstaStream contains two vitamins, including vitamin E and vitamin B6.

Each serving contains 87% of your daily value of vitamin E and 196% of your daily value of vitamin B6.

Vitamin E is one of nature’s best antioxidants, and studies have linked it with healthy inflammation throughout the body.

Vitamin B6, meanwhile, is crucial for energy, and it supports energy production at the cellular level.

Minerals: ProstaStream contains multiple minerals linked to prostate health, including zinc, selenium, and copper.

Each serving of ProstaStream contains 22% of your daily value of copper, 91% of your daily value of zinc, and 255% of your daily value of selenium.

Studies show men who are deficient in these three minerals may experience certain health effects.

By supplementing your dietary sources of these three minerals, ProstaStream could help with prostate size and other conditions.

Red Raspberry: ProstaStream contains a 50mg serving of red raspberry fruit extract.

Red raspberry fruit extract is rich with vitamin C, which can support healthy inflammation throughout the body.

Annona Muricata Leaf: Also known as soursop or graviola, Annona muricata leaf has a natural sweet and sour taste.

Some studies have shown the plant extract has natural antioxidant effects because of its high levels of flavonoids and acetogenins.

Green Tea Leaf: Green tea leaf extract, like red raspberry, has been added to ProstaStream for its antioxidant effects.

Studies show green tea leaf could support antioxidant effects throughout the body via natural chemicals like EGCG.

Although few studies have specifically examined the effects of green tea leaf on prostate health, multiple studies have shown green tea affects inflammation throughout the body.

Cat’s Claw: Cat’s claw has been used for centuries in traditional medicine.

Cat’s claw is a woody vine growing natively throughout the Amazon rainforest and parts of South America and Central America.

Today, a growing number of nutritional supplements use cat’s claw for its effects on inflammation and overall health and wellness.

Mushroom Extracts: ProstaStream has three active mushroom extracts, including 10mg each of maitake, reishi, and shiitake mushroom extract.

Mushroom extracts are rich with beta glucans linked to health effects, which is one reason why they’ve been so popular in traditional medicine for centuries.

Amino Acids: ProstaStream contains three amino acids or amino acid precursors, including L-glutamic acid, L-alanine, and L-glycine.

These three amino acids could help with energy.

Although most studies have not examined the effects of amino acids on prostate health, it’s possible amino acids could support overall health in various ways.

Other Plants & Herbs: ProstaStream contains a collection of dozens of plants, herbs, and other natural extracts linked to inflammation or general prostate health.

Other active ingredients in ProstaStream include quercetin, juniper, uva ursi, buchu, pumpkin seed, burdock, cayenne pepper, tomato, and broccoli, among others.

Scientific Evidence for ProstaStream

The makers of ProstaStream buy cite five studies on the supplement’s references page as proof the product works.

Additionally, many of the ingredients in ProstaStream are backed by years of scientific evidence and decades of peer-reviewed research.

Although the ProstaStream formula itself has not completed trials, the individual ingredients within the formula have been studied.

We’ll review all of this evidence below.

Plant sterol complex is the largest ingredient in ProstaStream.

Commonly used for cardiovascular health and cholesterol, plant sterol complex is also popular for managing BPH.

According to a 1998 study, the beta sitosterol in plant sterol complex “activates the sphingomyelin cycle and induces apoptosis” in human prostate cancer cells, which could help with prostate cancer.

A separate study found that same beta sitosterol could help with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Soursop, also known as Annona muricata or graviola, has been linked to prostate health in multiple studies.

In a 2015 study, for example, researchers found soursop had synergistic interactions within its flavonoids and other natural antioxidants, and that these synergistic interactions could “confer protection against prostate cancer.”

In other words, the natural antioxidants within Annona muricata could help with prostate cancer, according to some studies.

Pygeum Africanum, the third largest ingredient in ProstaStream, could help with benign prostatic hyperplasia, according to some small studies.

A 1998 study found Pygeum Africanum was one of several popular herbal remedies for BPH.

Researchers praised the ingredient for being well-tolerated and cheaper than many other solutions.

A similar study from 2002 reviewed 18 trials involving 1,562 men who took Pygeum Africanum or a placebo.

Researchers found men taking Pygeum Africanum were twice as likely to report an improvement in overall symptoms compared to men taking a placebo.

Overall, ProstaStream contains a blend of natural ingredients linked to prostate health and overall inflammation.

The bulk of the formula consists of three active ingredients, including saw palmetto, plant sterol complex, and Pygeum Africanum, all of which are backed by clinical trials showing they help with prostate health.
